Rock Star Contest entry - popchampagne
Pop Champagne is having a Rock Star contest, and I was so inspired by her own rockstar look that I decided to enter ^_^ The rules are to do a makeup look (thank goodness not hair, b/c I don't have blonde hair!) My inspiration for the look is Ayumi Hamasaki. I have loved her for many years, and even with all these new musicians on the scene, Ayumi will always have a special place in my heart. I really think she contributed so much to the whole "hime gyaru" generation, and she started so many trends.

sophia, i really appreciate that you read my blog, esp the serious posts. you really opened up my eyes to my whole self-identity crisis and now i realize that i don't really have a crisis. i just have a struggle between who i am and what my ideal me is. i don't think i'll ever get there.
ReplyDeletemakeup is a tool - what an idea! now that i think of it, it really is too. we all feel more confident when we get more cleaned up. i'll definitely keep that in mind.

I get them from eyecandylens.com :) Yes! They are def prescription. I have terrrrrible vision beyond belief so don't worry if you have bad eyes too.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that the cute lil puppy, chair, everything except the clothes are all my sister's ^_^ She actually sewed the curtains in the first photo!
Uhm and ignore any unsightly blemishes, scars, pasty skin, etc. I don't know how to retouch/edit photos except the crop tool hahaha. Anyone wanna teach me??? I'll pay you in jewelry and NYX makeup hahaha! No seriously....

ReplyDeleteYay! <3 I love love love Geo Angel Violet because they're comfortable but blend subtlely. They're mysterious because people get close and they notice something different about my eyes but don't know quite what it is until I point it out and then they go OH!! :D
ReplyDeleteMy Dali Extra Size Green ones were really big and people don't like it because the size seems scary. They notice size before colour.
I'm sure if you really want a pop, blue is the way to go. Grey looks freaky sometimes with flash esp at parties, but browns and blacks are always natural looking and kawaii depending on how much ring is around the lens.
I'm getting my blue, brown, and grey ones in the mail tomorrow morning so I'll get back to you asap once I try them :)!
I know...a bodysuit would feel so weird! And esp. if it's too tight it would be really uncomfortable..down there. I still want to try one though, it seems like it would make the bunching so much better!
